Our children and our teachers are under assault by political extremists through book bans and efforts to defund our schools. In Lansing, I will fight for our children's right to learn without government interference, mental healthcare, and better access to childcare.

Our children and our teachers should not feel at risk in the classroom. I will support continued efforts to implement common-sense gun legislation in Lansing to prevent tragedies like the shooting at Oxford High School from happening in our state ever again.
